ACR100 only transmits the CAN signal between the vehicle's CAN bus lines and a compatible telematics or GPS tracking unit. It does not process or store data itself and must be used together with a device capable of reading CAN bus data. CANclick should be mounted on twisted pairs that connect CAN bus devices in the car. Connecting on wires close to the OBD II connector may cause data read problems.
